2. What we collect
- Identity and contact data — full name, date of birth, nationality, country of residence, email address, and (where required) a government-issued identity document and proof of address.
- Transaction data — evaluation fees paid, payout requests, and the payment details necessary to settle them. Card numbers are handled by our payment providers and are never stored by us.
- Trading data — the orders, positions and account history generated on your MetaTrader 5 accounts.
- Technical data — IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, and pages visited on this website.
- Correspondence — the content of emails and support tickets you send us.
3. Why we use it
- to create, operate and support your accounts (performance of a contract);
- to verify identity, screen against sanctions lists and meet our obligations under our AML & KYC Policy (legal obligation);
- to detect prohibited trading conduct and prevent fraud (legitimate interests);
- to process payouts and refunds (performance of a contract);
- to send service messages about your account (performance of a contract);
- to send marketing email, only where you have opted in (consent).
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with parties that need it to deliver the service: our platform and server providers, payment processors, identity-verification providers, email and support tooling, professional advisers, and — where we are legally required — competent authorities. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
5. International transfers
Our service providers are located in a number of countries, and your data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where that happens we require contractual safeguards obliging the recipient to protect the data to a standard equivalent to that described in this policy.
6. How long we keep it
Identity and transaction records are retained for seven years after the end of our relationship, to satisfy anti-money-laundering record-keeping obligations. Trading data is retained for the life of the account plus two years. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent. Website analytics data is retained for 14 months.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law you may ask us to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it where we have no continuing legal basis to keep it, restrict or object to a particular use, or provide it in a portable format. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time. Write to support@driftgain.com; we respond within 30 days. Note that we cannot delete records we are required by law to retain.
8. Security
Access to personal data is restricted to personnel who need it, transmission is encrypted in transit, and identity documents are stored encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authority without undue delay.
9. Cookies
This website’s use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.
10. Children
Our services are not offered to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes are notified by email to account holders.
