Frequently asked questions

If your question is not covered here, write to us — we would rather answer it than have you guess.

The company

Who operates Drift Gain?

Drift Gain is the trading name of Drift Gain Financial Ltd., an international business company incorporated in Saint Lucia under the International Business Companies Act, Cap 12.14 with company number 2026-00559. Our registered office is c/o Fortgate Offshore Investment and Legal Services Ltd., Ground Floor, The Sotheby Building, Rodney Village, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia.

Is Drift Gain a broker or a regulated financial institution?

No. We are a proprietary trading firm. We are not a broker, bank, exchange, investment firm or advisor, and we are not authorised by any financial services regulator. We do not accept deposits, hold client money, or execute orders in live markets on your behalf.

Where can I reach a person?

Email support@driftgain.com. The support desk is staffed Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 20:00 GMT and answers within one business day.

Eligibility

Who can participate?

Any individual aged 18 or over who is not resident or a national of a restricted jurisdiction, is not the subject of international sanctions, and is not a politically exposed person subject to enhanced restrictions.

Which countries are excluded?

The United States of America, Saint Lucia, and a list of sanctioned and high-risk jurisdictions that we keep current. The full list is published on our Restricted Jurisdictions page.

What documents do I need?

A government-issued photo identity document and, for payouts above a threshold, a proof of address dated within the last three months. Full detail is in our AML & KYC Policy.

Evaluations

Is real money at risk?

Only the evaluation fee. All trading takes place on MetaTrader 5 demo accounts. No order is routed to a live market and no client funds are held by the Company at any point.

Is there a time limit?

No. Neither phase has a deadline. Accounts with no trading activity for 60 consecutive days may be archived, and can be reactivated on request.

Can I run more than one evaluation?

Yes, up to a combined notional allocation of $400,000 across all your accounts. Copying trades between your own accounts is permitted; copying between accounts belonging to different people is not.

What happens if I breach a limit?

The account is closed automatically. Evaluation fees are not refunded after a breach. You may purchase a new evaluation whenever you wish.

Do you allow expert advisors?

Yes. MQL5 expert advisors, custom indicators and scripts are all permitted, as is running them on your own VPS. Strategies that exploit simulated pricing — latency arbitrage and tick-scalping among them — are not.

Funded accounts and payouts

How much of the profit do I keep?

The standard split is 80% to you. From your third consecutive profitable payout cycle it rises to 90%.

How often can I request a payout?

Every 14 calendar days, beginning 14 days after your first trade on the funded account. Approved requests are settled within one business day.

How am I paid?

Bank transfer, Wise, or USDT on your choice of network. Payment must be made to an account in your own name — we do not pay third parties.

Do payouts count as investment returns?

No. They are performance-based compensation derived from simulated results. You are responsible for determining and settling any tax due in your own jurisdiction.

Do I get my evaluation fee back?

Yes, it is added to your first approved payout once the funded account has produced a positive net result. See the Refund Policy for the full conditions.
